The process of making palm dinnerware is simple. It starts with the farmers collecting the dried palm leaves. Once collected, the leaves are cleaned in fresh water before putting through a hot-compress. The heat magically transforms the humble leaf into elegant dinnerware, ready to add a touch of magic to any dinner table.
The cutlery is made from Birch wood, a fast-growing tree found in many cold countries. The cutlery made from this wood is strong and durable. The fine grains, pale colour and satiny sheen gives a beautiful appearance to the cutlery.
No chemicals or artificial ingredients are used - this is as eco-friendly and sustainable as it can get.
Sturdy and durable, palm leaf dinnerware and birch cutlery can be used for both hot and cold foods. They are biodegradable and compostable – when used, can go straight into food waste or home compost bins.
