Opulent Florence by My little Wedding Shop - Made to Order

Opulent Florence is a simple yet stunning bias cut gown created from beautiful crepe which drapes beautifully across the natural curves of your figure. Bias Cut gowns are incredibly comfortable to wear as they use the natural stretch of the material to provide the slinky, Hollywood look whilst allowing you to dance, hug and enjoy every moment of your day.

Opulent Florence is cut with a curved, empire line seam which extends the figure and provides a very flattering silhouette. This line is accentuated with a beautiful beaded lace which is carefully hand appliquéd onto your dress. This edging can be added to the shoulders to create a cap sleeve. 

Opulent Florence is available in either pure Silk crepe or a high quality, soft polyester crepe. If you would like to see swatches of the materials this dress is created from before you order, you can order a swatch pack from our shop page. 

My little Wedding Shop has been creating beautiful bridal wear since 2011 and we have a fantastic reputation for creating high quality bridal wear in unique designs. Our structured bridal gowns use advanced corsetry techniques to create a bodice that provides the support our brides require while being comfortable to wear. Our corseted bodices are created using stiffened cotton and flexible polyester boning and are fastened internally using wide elasticated straps. 

A complimentary swatch pack of your dresses materials will be sent out to you once you order your wedding dress. This will contain swatches of your dress materials and lace so you can colour match your accessories!

STANDARD MADE TO ORDER 

All our bridal gowns are made to order in our Shropshire studio to the size requested on your order form and in the materials detailed for your dress design.  Swatches of your chosen materials will be sent out to you within two weeks of ordering your dress. Your measurements provided at the point of ordering will determine the dress size your dress is made to. Standard orders are for weddings that are four or more months away from the order date. Your gown will be sent out to you approx 4 months after your order date and you will be notified when it it is on your way.

PRIORITY MADE TO ORDER - For weddings less than 4 months from your order date.

As all our gowns are made to order in our Shropshire Studio, we are able to provide a priority service for brides whose wedding is within four months of your order date. Your measurements provided at the point of ordering will determine the dress size your dress is made to. Priority orders are subject to an additional charge.

If your wedding is less than 6 weeks away, please contact My little Wedding Shop by email on [email protected] or Call the boutique on 01746 768968 to ensure that your dress can be created within your time frame. If we can produce a Priority Made-to-Order for your wedding less than 6 weeks away, we recommend you contact a local seamstress / tailor for when your gown is due to arrive, incase you need any alterations made. The additional charge for a Priority Made to Order Bridal Gown is £160.00 (GBP)

SIZING - Our dress sizing is based on the following basic measurements. Once you order your dress My little Wedding Shop will be in touch to confirm more detailed measurements and to check that you have ordered the correct sizing. 

HOW TO TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS - Please take your measurements in CM.

Once you have ordered your dress My little Wedding Shop will be in touch to get your full measurements to check you have ordered the correct size dress. These are the measuements that we will need:

BUST – Around the fullest part of your bust, across the nipple.

OVERBUST - Measure directly above your bust.

UNDERBUST – Measure directly under the bust, where bra bone would sit.

WAIST – Around the smallest part of your waistline.

HIP – Around the fullest part of your bottom.

NAPE TO BUST POINT – From the nape at the back of your neck, over your shoulder to your nipple.

BUST POINT - BUST POINT - Measure the distance from the centre of one nipple to the other.

ACROSS FRONT - Measure from your armpit, over the fullest part of your bust to your other armpit. This helps to see how  you are proportioned front and and back.

FRONT NAPE TO WAIST – From the base of your throat to the smallest part of your waist.

SHOULDER TO FLOOR – From your shoulder to the floor in a straight line, you will need help with this as you must stand straight and look straight ahead as you take the measurement.

WAIST TO FLOOR – From smallest part of your waist to the floor. Again, you will need help with this as you must stand straight and look straight ahead as you take the measurement.

SHOE HEIGHT - Please let us know the maximum height of any heels you will be wearing on the day. If you are able to take the WAIST TO FLOOR measurement whilst wearing your chosen wedding shoes, this is ideal, otherwise, we can overcompensate to allow for the height of your shoes. In this case, it is most likely that you will need to take your dress to a local seamstress to be hemmed to the right length before your wedding day.

TRAIN LENTGH - The length of our trains is measured from the back waist to the hem of the train. The standard measurement for each dress is included in the design description but if you would like a custom length train, please take this measurement and send it through.

SHOULDER TO SHOULDER – From the widest shoulder point to shoulder point. It is best to take this measurement across the back of the shoulders.

SHOULDER - Measure from the base of the neck to the edge of the shoulder bone.

FOR DESIGNS WITH SLEEVES
BICEP – Hold your arm in a ‘muscle-man’ pose and measure around the fullest part of your upper arm.

LOWER ARM - measure around your arm at the point where you would like the sleeve to finish.

SLEEVE LENGTH – Let your arm fall down to your side and measure from your shoulder to your wrist / to where you would like the sleeve hem to be.
