Here is an interesting fact for you…

Did you know that over 40% of all engagements take place between Christmas and Valentines day? That is quite a high percentage isn’t it?

If you have recently joined this group of people by getting engaged over the festive break then I think this blog might be able to help you out.

One of the most wonderful times of the year is Spring as it is the season of new beginnings. The flowers begin to bloom, the ADORABLE baby lambs are born and those warmer days start creeping in, making it the perfect time to tie the knot and start a new chapter with the one you love.

If you agree then carry on reading. I have brought together some of the advice that our experts and real brides chatted about on our Real Wedding Chat a couple of weeks back.

Who is better to listen to than a group of people who are in the same situation as you?

Spring Colour Schemes For A March Wedding

Advice From Real Couples And Professionals

“We were June 2021 and now April 2022. We’re sticking to our bright & bold colour scheme and the florist has said she should still be able to find lots of lovely bright flowers for me”

“I personally would go super soft, muted tones at that time of year! Be prepared for snow”

“Sage green, lilac or a light cornflower blue to me are really spring like colours”

“Personally.. I do not care about the time of year. Go with what you like. I would have had the same colours whatever the season. Someone I saw on a bride group had originally booked and prepared a Christmas wedding but it was postponed.. she’s still having the Xmas theme now it’s moved to summer and I am here for it”

“Match weather can vary sooo much. So I think I'd be Inclined to go with really soft colours, whites, creams, beige-very natural. And maybe add a soft pink”

“Sage green, a subtle lemon hint. Use white gypsophila, eucalyptus and pale daffodils in a bouquet”

“I personally didn’t think of seasons and associated the colour schemes I think just go with what colour schemes you like and picture throughout your wedding with decor and people’s clothing”

“I think quite a bright green would be great for March, it’s the time of year when everything in nature starts to become green again”
