Real Wedding – Tristan and Miranda Rynsewyn

Here at Emporella we are very happy to introduce the beautiful, real bride Miranda who married her handsome groom Tristan. We are grateful to the couple who have shared every detail of their big day and the lead up to the wedding for this fabulous blog post, and we know that you are going to enjoy reading this just as much as we did!

About 5 years ago, Miranda started at a new job at a furniture & décor store. They had scheduled a group interview for her and this is where she first met Tristan. He was the assistant manager of the store and the more she heard him speak that day, the more she started to get this strange feeling. This job wasn’t really something she had in mind, or even a place she had heard of but she was desperate for work. However after meeting Tristan she knew she was there for a reason.

20799171_10155416454250049_2042399073190977182_nMiranda had been working there for around 6 month and they had both started to get on really well and one night Tristan started to ask her if she would ever work ‘seasonal’ as he wanted to hangout with her more but couldn’t since she was an employee. About a month went by and Miranda eventually moved on from that company and instantly after they started seeing each other. 2 years past and Tristan eventually proposed on Christmas Eve, just the two of them in their little basement suite.

The lovely couple got married in Tofino, BC, on July 23rd 2017, on Long Beach. An intimate wedding with just 5 guests.

Miranda wore a Maggie Sottero dress that she got from White Bridal Boutique in Lantzville. It was the first dress that she tried on and she instantly fell in love with it. Her shoes were from Etsy and opted out of wearing heels due to having to walk across the sand.

Tristan work a blue dress shirt and grey trousers from Tip Top Tailor and shoes from XMEN runners as he is a huge comic book collector.

At the wedding they both had their mums there, Miranda’s sister and Tristan’s best friend and stepdad. Due to it only being them two and 5 other guests there wasn’t much styling for the wedding other than their own outfits. Their wedding guests were allowed to wear whatever they wanted and then they had dinner that evening just the two of them at The Fetch restaurant at the Black Rock Resort.

They Chris Boar as their photographer, as he is local and very experienced. Photos were very important to the couple, so they chose very carefully. Chris, in particular, was not only experienced in taking beautiful wedding photos, but had also done a large portion of his photoshoots in the Tofino, so he knew the area well. The couple said that he was very easy to work with, easy going and knew how to set everyone up very quickly and efficiently.

Miranda’s bouquet was a fake arrangement from Michaels, which she attached a heart-shaped locket to, which had photos of her late grandmother and grandfather. She did this so her grandparents could still “be there” in some way. She was very close to them, and their relationship was always something that inspired her – and still does.

Real perspectives on real weddings are what make Emporella proud of what we do.
