DIY: Table centrepieces

 

Would you like to get creative with your wedding decor? Well, Emporella have another DIY for you: table centrepieces. We know that these can be quite pricey so we’ve sourced three inexpensive and simple projects for you to try.

Mason Jar Vase

These mason jars are super cute, trendy and timeless. They can be used to hold various items suited to your theme – perfect for a centrepiece! You can decorate them any way you like using lace, ribbon, glitter, twine or paint.

You will need:

  • Mason jars
  • Flowers (fresh or fake)
  • Decorative materials (of your choice)
  • Glue

Our three step guide:

  1. Cut your materials to fit around your mason jar. You can use lace for a romantic feel, twine for a rustic feel or ribbon and glitter to bling it up.
  2. Glue this is place and add any arty details (extra gems, jewels, letters)
  3. Add your chosen items, we chose flowers for a feminine touch.

And you’re finished! Simple yet effective.

Revamped Wine Bottles

These come in all different heights, shapes and sizes which can look beautiful in the middle of your wedding tables. You can have a good time drinking them and enjoy them afterwards on your big day – dual purpose!

You will need:

  • Old wine bottles
  • Spray paint in your colour scheme or permanent decorative pens
  • Flowers (fresh or fake)

Our three step guide:

  1. Thoroughly wash out your wine bottles so they don’t smell or contain any wine.
  2. Spray paint them your chosen colour in any style (ombre, full, half and half) and leave to dry
  3. Add your flowers and any other details (ribbon, twine)

That’s all! It’s so easy yet looks like it cost you a fortune!

Wine Glass Candles: 

We love this idea. The elegance of the glass and the romantic mood of the candles go perfectly together. You can style these in a bunch of different ways adding so much diversity to your tables.

You will need:

  • Wine Glasses
  • Candles (shapes and sizes of your choice)
  • Flowers
  • A base to stand them on
  • Any extra touches (gems, pearls, ribbon, lace)

Our five step guide:

  1. Arrange your flowers to fit on your base then put your wine glass face down over the top
  2. Glue your wine glass to the base (optional)
  3. Add any decorative features and glue them to your base
  4. Glue your candles to the top of the wine glass
  5. Arrange and add any extra features

Easy peasy!
